People leave

they can't stay by your side forever

you can cry

or scream

you can beg

or plead

but sometimes 

there's just nothing you can do

 to stop them 

Sad

but true

What we can do

is treasure the times we had

the chances given to us 

and keep it in the box of memories

taking them out once in a while

smiling 

tasting the scent of old times

sweet or sour

spiced-up or toned-down

don't matter
